.... After I lost my sketch books I was really considering giving up on art all together. My passion for art work in general completely vanished, I couldn't even write for the longest time. My reaction, to what I felt was the greatest loss I've ever endured, was completely childish and yet I'm not ashamed of it. I don't feel the same about any of the projects I was working on at the time. I feel like I've let them all down and it's difficult to even look at them. I know how ridiculous this all may sound to any sane person but I'm just that close to my work.

After talking to my closest of friends, Redrumw, I realized how much I was missing here and she convinced me that returning could do more to get me out of my self pitying state than anything else in the world would stand a chance of doing. So she created an account for me and set me to the task of finding inspiration. And as always she was right.
Ever since then I've devoted all my attentions to writing books and creating illustrations for the stories that needed them.
She is putting my dialogue to the illustrations I've done for a series of chlildren's books under the working title of, Sheets and Blankets, Tents and Castles.
She also suggested that I at least submit the story of Metro Gothika, so that in a sense it will have some form of completion. I feel like I've been given the courage to go on and not look back. What would the world be without best friends? A place full of excuses I guess.
